“Family Cards and Games is one of the best comic stores I have been to in South Florida. It offers a good variety of toys, cards and other collectibles with decent prices. I purchased a nice set (refer to the photos), which I had been looking for for a while and found it here way cheaper than in many places and Amazon. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is centrally located in a shopping plaza with plenty of stores around. There is a free parking lot with a lot of spaces. Overall, 100% recommended.”

“I have been an avid collector for about 4-5 years and have a massive collection. To gain a hobby I could participate in with my sons I taught myself how to play and went to the Mega Evolutions pre release event where I played for the very first time. Not knowing how to play or any experience beyond collecting I needed a lot of help. I received that help from the employees at Family as well as the amazing players that came to compete as well. My whole mentality about pokemon collecting and playing has changed drastically. The “family” feel and how much Greg and Larry care about each customer that walks in the door is not found anywhere else. They make it so enjoyable to come in, play, buy cards, funkos, and so much more. Or like I do many of times is go in to hang out, release stress and just enjoy going through my cards and building decks. Rather you play, collect or neither I would recommend stopping by because there’s certainly something they offer that you will enjoy. Even though offer pretty much any TCG they also have Funkos for days, hot-wheels and hot-wheel racing with this cool track. Stop in, look around and see why so many of us regular this store. If you want to learn how to play pokemon, hot wheels racing or D&D ask for Frank. Just tell Frank that Emolga sent you and he will give you VIP service. Oh If you tell him Pidgeot is #1 I’m sure he will give you a huge hug. “It is all in the name. I first stumbled upon this shop a year ago when I came to play D&D, and have been having an amazing time since. Both my daughter and nephew love Pokémon, and not only has this place proven to be a convenient place to shop for it, but also the best! The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable if you're not sure what you're looking for - and they have so much, so whatever it is, they probably have it. Not only did I get my shopping done, but I have become an avid player of the game myself! That is how friendly and open the atmosphere at this shop is. You can really tell they are passionate about what they do - both game and community-wise! Whether you're new or a veteran, when you come into this shop you will find someone to share that experience with and probably make a new friend as well. There is always someone here to play a few games with and teach you if you are wanting to learn. Please don't miss out, and do drop by. It is unlike any other store or hobby shop.
