“★★★★★ Absolutely the Best Comic Shop in Tampa! If you haven't been to Comics & Stuff on Gray Street yet, you are seriously missing out. This place easily earns every single one of its 5 stars! First off, walking into this shop is a breath of fresh air. A lot of comic shops can feel cluttered and chaotic, but Comics & Stuff is incredibly clean, bright, and organized. Everything is meticulously organized, which makes hunting for back issues or browsing the latest releases an absolute joy. Everything is beautifully displayed, and you can tell they take real pride in keeping the store in pristine shape. The owner and the entire staff are next-level amazing. They are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable without any of that elitist attitude you sometimes run into at other shops. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or just getting into the hobby, they treat you like family the second you walk through the door. If you love collecting variant covers, this is your paradise. They have a massive, wide selection of variants that always leaves me impressed. They pull in some of the coolest, rarest, and most beautifully dynamic covers out there, so there's always something unique to add to your collection. Managing your weekly reads is completely stress-free here, too. Their pull list process is incredibly smooth, accurate, and completely reliable. They even pre-bag and board the books for your subscription, meaning your weekly pull is always waiting for you in flawless, mint condition. As a huge bonus, the owner also hosts awesome Whatnot live sales! It is such a cool way to snag great deals and hard-to-find books from home, and the energy on their streams is just as fun and community-driven as it is in the physical store. Tampa has a lot of comic options, but Comics & Stuff stands head and shoulders above the rest. Exceptional service, unmatched organization, and an unbeatable community vibe. “Very cool place! So much to see, and man if you cannot find what your looking for here, my thought is your not going to find it anywhere, because they had such a giant variety genres and titles it almost made my head spin. Very friendly staff as well, and I will visit again.”

“I don’t typically write reviews. However, I felt it was necessary. I have been to a lot of comics stores from Gainesville to Tampa, and this is my favorite place for new comics! They make sure I get my subscriptions that am looking for and their prices are fair. I don’t have to worry if I am going to miss anything.”

“They have a great collection of new arrivals, but a very disorganized and portly taken care of collection of back issues. Also, the staff can make you feel unwelcome. Be careful when handling the recent release issues, they are stacked up precariously on n a rack that is not designed to hold as many books as they have stacked up and can fall. If the precariously placed books fall, the staff will have to check all of the fallen books to make sure none are “damaged” (not sure what could be damaged beyond a corner of a board??). Like, I get it, but somehow every other comic bookstore is able to display unbagged, unboarded new releases without them being in danger of falling all over the place and getting damaged in the process. They also had stuff out on the floor that wasn’t for sale, but was presented as though it was for sale. One of the staff harassed a customer for looking through them. The staff even had a loud conversation about how stuff keeps on falling from one particular cabinet because of the way the stuff is organized in there. I ended up putting back most of the books I intended to buy because I felt so unwelcome in the store. If things how they treat customers, it makes sense why they’re holding on to so much inventory.”
