“So much variety and stuff to look at! I had no idea this place was even here much less 5 minutes away from my house! My bank account is in trouble! The amount of comics they have in there is next level! Not to mention all the different memorabilia, books, figurines and action figures, toys, posters, the list goes on. They also sell games and trading cards and have a separate room you can play the games and hang out in, very cool. I now love this place eternally.”

“Emerald City Comics was an awesome experience from the moment I walked in. The store is huge, but everything is incredibly well organized. Whether you're into comics, trading card games, Warhammer, board games, or collectibles, there's something for everyone. I honestly don't think there's a comic they don't have, and their selection of collectibles covers just about every fandom. I especially wanted to mention Steve. From what I saw, he was organizing and running the tournaments, and he seemed to know just about everything when it came to tabletop and card games. Every question I had was answered quickly, and while I was there I noticed him doing the same for other customers. No matter who walked up to him, he took the time to help them, and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he was doing. One of the things I thought was really cool was that they offer free demo games for many of the games they carry, so you can actually learn before buying in. They even give away free Magic: The Gathering starter decks, which is an awesome way to introduce new players to the game. As someone getting back into both Warhammer 40,000 and Magic: The Gathering, I felt incredibly welcome. Everyone I played with was friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions. It didn't matter if you were young or old—everyone shared the same passion for the hobby, and the atmosphere was contagious. Another thing that really stood out was the community Warhammer bits box, where people donate extra bits for others to use. It ended up helping me out with my own army, and I thought that was such a great idea. They also have multiple TVs playing all kinds of things—from Warhammer videos to My Little Pony—which gave the store a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Emerald City Comics feels like more than just a store—it's a community. Whether you're brand new to the hobby or returning after years away like I was, you'll feel right at home. I'll definitely be back!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Emerald City Comics is always worth the drive! I don't get to visit as often as I'd like, but it's a must-stop whenever my significant other and our fellow nerdy friends are in town. I'm always impressed by the huge variety of comics, collectibles, and merchandise they carry. On this visit, I asked about a particularly hard-to-find Anne Rice comic, and I was honestly shocked they had it! I couldn't afford to buy them all, but the prices were very fair, and I left incredibly happy. My S/O also found some awesome Godzilla collectibles. He was flying home and wanted to buy way more, but he ended up picking out a comic and a really cool 12 oz Godzilla glass. I'll have him snap some photos and leave a review too! You could spend hours here and still not see everything. Great place for the experienced collector or someone looking for new hobbies or seeking unusual gifts. Well worth the visit.”
