“I recently moved away from Iowa City, and Critical Hit Games is one of the places I miss the most. Pre-release events for Magic the Gathering and Commander nights here were always really friendly events--I couldn't have asked for a better place to come to as I learned more about the game. As I understood more and more about Magic, Critical Hit also reliably had many of the cards on my lists for building new decks. Now I live in a bigger city, and while I enjoy many of the perks of having a more expansive MtG community, I will always miss walking into this store and hearing Chance, the owner, greet me by name.
