Not to mention there Funko selection well frankly the biggest I have ever seen. Also pop culture items. Over all this shop is amazing! I mean I drive 30 both ways just to go there. “When it comes to Most Excellent Comics and Gaming, I think it's fair to say that this is easily the best comics and collectibles shop in CT and possibly all of New England! I've been into comics my whole life, but I fell out of the hobby in my 20s. That's when I found Most Excellent Comics and Gaming, and bringing my business there was one of the best decisions I've made! The staff is wonderful and Mason is the best owner you could ask for; very personable and fair! They made getting back into collecting so easy and a very fun experience. They have such a great range of comics, collectibles and playing cards: from golden/silver age comics all the way to new releases, a wall full of amazing keys, funko pops ranging from common to autographed chases, action figures, Pokémon cards, Magic the Gathering cards, sports cards, statues, Warhammer products, omnibuses.....you name it and it's probably there! And the pricing is always fair and competitive! They also have tables in the back where people come together to play magic the gathering, pokemon, and do trades which is awesome! I drive from Hartford to Enfield regularly to pick up my pull list and I usually always leave with something extra. I highly suggest you stop by if you're even slightly into the hobby, especially on Free Comic Book Day!”

“Have been by a couple times now havent been disappointed. This location is MASSIVE! Hundreds of raw comics, books and high detail figures for collection. Also and the young Spanish guy running the card section is a fantastic employee. Very attentive to customers needs even if they are extremely busy. No issue looking up cards and no issue cutting a deal for multiple cards. If you are looking for great condition raw singles, slabs, sealed boxes or graded comics stop by here! They also have multiple tables and do card tournaments weekly. Give them a shot!”

“I decided late last night to make up a deck list for a new MTG commander deck. Decided to order a handful of cards at 11pm at night from here to flesh out the deck so I could play the next day. The store was very busy, but the people there made sure to pick my order the next day. The guy was very friendly and I was so absolutely delighted that they were able to get my cards the next day. 10/10 will order again :D”
