What collectors say
★★★★★
“One thing I really appreciate about this shop is how Scott runs the business with honesty and integrity. The sports card market can be tough, and while not everyone will always hear the number they were hoping for when selling cards, Scott has always been transparent, fair, and professional. He takes the time to explain his reasoning and treats people with respect, whether they’re buying a single pack or bringing in a large collection. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the hobby and wants to do right by his customers. In a world where good customer service can be hard to find, it’s refreshing to work with someone who values honesty and builds trust within the collecting community.”

“The Baseball Card Store is a long-term collector’s dream in the front and around the side, and a new collector’s dream in the back with the packs. You know those people who have disorganized piles around their desk at work or at home, but they are actually organized and can find anything in like a second? That’s this place! It looks disorganized, but it’s truly because of the quantity and variety of items that they have. Just ask Blake, Jake, Scott, or Jordan, and… boom! You’ll have your answer. If you’re looking for something cheap and fun, they have it. If you’re looking for graded and high-end cards, they have it. If you’re looking for packs of any sport, Pokémon, pop culture, etc., they have it. My son is getting into Pokémon cards, but they’re just so expensive. The guys asked what I was looking for, and I just wanted bulk and about $20. They put it together, and I can’t wait for my son to get them on his birthday!”

“Decent place. I love coming by and rummaging around. The owner is a good dude, every time I come in I get a kick out of him telling someone that their junk wax is worth butkus. It never seems to fail. LOL. I guess the only reason for four stars would be, I do wish there were more singles in that $10-50 price range and the value boxes aren't well organized; baseball, football, etc scattered throughout the boxes is frustrating. They are fair with pricing and are not trying to rip you off. If disorganized value boxes are my only gripe, it's not half bad. I do recommend.”

“My review is a mixed review because we started going to the shop in 2022 when my adult son and family moved here from Texas. He loved going there to support the smaller family owned shop because they were always super friendly to him And he could always find cool Pokémon cards, both individual and boxed cards. They were always very close to MSRP and affordable for young families, and/or grandparents, like me. He shopped there every time he got paid And would usually pick up something for him and his son. His family ended up moving back to Texas and so I started going in to try and get things from time to time to mail to them, but everything is more scalper prices now instead of what they used to be. So, now we can’t shop there anymore.. I still call from time to time to check to see if they have gone back to how they were when we first started going there, but they haven’t. I’ve been told by many people that it doesn’t matter if you have a small shop or not, you still pay the same price and then they get to choose what they sell it for. So, we are just out in the wild, still searching for things like everybody else And hoping that we get lucky and get first in line at some point just to pick up a product or two. As far as customer service though, in the past, they have always been very kind to us and helped us when we needed. I’m not sure if the shop has changed hands in the last couple of years and that’s why the way they do business has changed What’s going on, but we sure miss the way it was for sure.”
