“I made the trip from KC, roughly a 4hr drive and it was well worth it. This is the only shop I know of that actually has a good selection of Pre code horror comics. From $1 books to grails, Pokémon and sports cards, I think they have just a bit of everything. The crew is amazing and the prices are great. Tatertot is the best shop around even if you have to drive 4hrs one way to get there. 😉”

“Tatertots is HOT! I got a recommendation from another comic book fan to check it out and boy it didn’t disappoint. When I first went inside, it was busy with customers and it looked a little messy, but boy was I wrong. Lots of stock of books, boards, bags and boxes. Did I mention the back issues? Very organized and ended up spending over an hour in there weeding through boxes of back issues. I didn’t even make it halfway through and the wife started calling to see if I got kidnapped. Staff was friendly and couldn’t help but laugh at some of the conversations about life and comics that were happening in the room as I was browsing. Highly recommend if you’re a comic book fan and I guess a Magic fan too. That was also being played in the store and product being sold. Like the Terminator says, “I’ll be back!””

They have a huge selection, from affordable reads to pristine collector copies that seem to beg, “protect me in mylar.” The Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering inventory is incredible, with singles and sealed products. It’s as if Professor Oak and Jace Beleren teamed up to create a store. D&D players, celebrate! The miniatures selection is so vast it feels like they accidentally looted a wizard’s workshop. Need books or source material? They likely have the tome that can bring your entire campaign back to life or help you craft a new multiverse. And let’s not forget the play area; it’s large enough to host Friday Night Magic and the occasional goblin uprising. They are organizing events like Pokémon Trade Nights and Trivia nights, so whether you're a lore expert or a meme enthusiast, there’s something for you. In brief, if Tatertot Comics and Collectibles were an item, it would be Legendary Tier with +5 to Charisma and Community Engagement. I highly recommend visiting.”
