“Omg. AMAZING. We live out in Raleigh and a local bartender had a sweet shirt on. We asked about it and it happened to be this place- just a few weeks before we went to this part of the state! Marshall was one of our first couples trips, and we were so sad to see the devastation from Helene. Long story short, we wanted to get back here. When we got in, it was about 5:30. The shop is small but VERY well set up. My husband is a D&D and board game nerd, I’m a pretty/collaborative board game & graphic novel nerd. We found SO many things we both loved. Plus, when we came in, the owner was leading a d&d game with some young women- they were so excited and it was very cute. He made sure to reach out to us and we felt very welcomed. We enjoyed listening to them sleuth as we browsed the store. It was just really lovely to see and hear an adult bringing newbies into a fun game. I was REALLY pleased with the selection of graphic novels. I was even more pleased to speak to the owner and hear his lovely story. All in all, just a really great spot. Please go if you’re even close to the area”
