“My daughter and I stopped by Chewy's today and had a fantastic experience! Mr. "Chewy" is super personable and took the time to talk with my little girl about her interests and hobbies; it is rare to find such wonderful customer service in today's world. Not to mention, the shop is well-organized, the prices are great, and there is a ton of cool stuff to sort through. If you're looking for a nice dose of nostalgia, you should pop in sometime! “Small and cute shop for the collectors. Their main focus seems to be primarily Sports and Comics to buy and trade. They do, however, have some collectible figures and merchandise. They have *some* Pokemon and One Piece, but selection is limited. The staff is very friendly sociable and are happy to talk shop about most anything. Very friendly for those that actually play the card game for Pokemon and One Piece. They are general fans all around and seem genuinely interested in growing the community FOR the community rather than the scalpers that are rampant everywhere (they like to call themselves "resellers").”

“I’m disappointed with the direction Chewy has taken in the local Pokémon community. In my opinion, stores should prioritize supporting collectors over practices that contribute to higher prices and reduced access to products. When local shops pay premiums for sealed products that were just purchased at retail and then resell them at even higher prices, it can make it more difficult for collectors and families to enjoy the hobby at reasonable prices. I would love to see Chewy focus on building long-term relationships with the local collecting community by promoting fair access and pricing rather than practices that many collectors feel fuel the secondary market. As a local business, you have the opportunity to be part of the solution. I hope you’ll consider policies that better support collectors and help keep the hobby enjoyable for everyone. If not, many customers, myself included, may choose to support businesses whose approach better aligns with those values.”
