“Ive been going to Mavericks for 30 years. One of my favorite places to get MTG singles and packs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also if you get 45 or 50 bucks in singles you get a free booster. Unfortunately it's 5 bucks and under but you get to choose. I'll always go there because it's pretty rare I go and they don't have what I'm looking for. I advise you empty out the ole bank account and spend it all there. Be strong, you can do this. It's only your life savings. Who needs a down payment on a house when you can buy little rectangle cardboard singles that you will never get value out of. You can use ripped booster wrappers as a blanket that you taped together from the scotch tape you found in the Office Max dumpster...... Have fun and play Haaaaard!”

“I stopped by when I was in town and was pleasantly surprised. The store is small but manages to pack a lot into their square footage. I was looking for Pokemon cards, but they also had a variety of sports cards and order TCGs. The Pokemon singles were reasonably priced, with a variety of cards of all rarities and from all eras, Base Set through the newest English/Japanese sets. Everything from 25 cent bulk to $1-$5 bulk to $10 "bulk", with higher valued cards and graded cards in cases. Most/all of the higher value "bulk" cards had conditions listed on the sleeves and toploaders. I spent far too much time looking through the bulk bins, and enjoyed chatting with the staff members while I did it. I ended up walking away with a good variety of cards for my standard decks and obscure older cards for my personal collection. The sealed Pokemon products (most of which were at least a few years old) appeared to be either market price or close to market price, but that's to be expected for anything not currently in print.”
