“An incredible game store. Both the Hillsboro location and the one on Farmington (which is the one I visit more often, since it's closer) are very well run and well maintained. The prices are fair, and the trade-in values are often higher than I expect. The quality control on their products is excellent, as well. I've bought and/or traded for a LOT of games and consoles, and I've never once had to return or exchange anything due to problems with functionality. These places are very well known among classic games enthusiasts, but they have a solid selection of modern games and hardware, too, like the Switch and PS5. Not every local game store survived the pandemic, so I'm greatful these stores are still open. Always check them out before going to GameStop; you'll be treated better and you'll be supporting a genuinely positive fixture of the PDX gaming scene.”

“The staff was amazing! They were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of games. They had games for the Wii, ps2, ps3, ps4, ps5, nintendo 64, nintendo ds, nintendo 3ds, nintendo switch, xbox and more!! The prices were honestly reasonable. There are a few items that were highly priced but since they’re collectibles and not easy or common finds it does make sense. Will definitely be coming back for more games next time!!”

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, IVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS, SOMETIMES JUST TO LOOK AROUND!!! THE STAFF ARE ALL WONDERFUL AND KIND, LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!!!!! (side story, years ago the owner let me showcase my Art for a few months and I sold a few peices from it!!!!!) “Without exaggeration, this is the best retro game store I have ever been in. The presentation of the games along with easy to read labeling system which gives you all the info you need without having to continually ask questions is top tier. This is a game store you can go for basic games and high end games. The perusing experience is unmatched. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Staff made sure that I knew that I wasn’t a bother to them. While I was there (for a couple of hours) I heard the tremendous customer service first hand. Prices are what they are in the market you visit. Certainly reasonable based off what I guess is “going sold on eBay rate.” This may bother some, but it’s reasonable. If you don’t like a price, ask to negotiate. If you enjoy looking at games, this is Disney Land. They have museum quality items as well. I visit game stores in every city I go and this is by far my favorite game store, and I’ve been in a bunch.”
