“I have been going to Cheerful for a long while. Jared and Jacob are two of the most dedicated owners of a gaming store in the update. They are extremely active, they seek to learn your name, know you as a person. They don't make small talk to make small talk, they talk to you because they care. With their new location their shop has become even more amazing, as they added more amazing members of staff as well. The Magic community is thriving and growing every single week with tons of commander nights, cubes, pre releases, etc. Ren is an amazing person to run the magic side of things, he's constantly active in talking to players to understand player wants and does an amazing job running things and trying to make sure everyone is included. He is pushing to run many different types of events to not just keep the community strong, but to push it to grow even more and help players try new formats they may not. Cheerful is the only store i feel truly comfortable playing in. There's something amazing about the fact you can show up in the middle of the day on a Wednesday and still potentially get games in. Best game store in the upstate. And it isn't close.”
