He took the time to explain how much the Pokémon hobby has changed over the years and walked me through the modern game and collecting scene without ever making me feel overwhelmed. It was really interesting to see how different things are today compared to when I was collecting as a kid. “Love the shop! Family owned and operated, great community events, very fair pricing, very friendly staff, and has a great selection for being so far outside larger towns. My one issue though is their use of AI “art” in all of their promotional content and their merchandise. The promotion is excusable, but if you want to create merchandise with graphics that people will actually buy, hire an artist. They’re everywhere looking for work, and by using AI you’re taking away from that business they need and barring yourself from offering merch that people would truly care about. However, focusing on the positives, they’re a lovely shop definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!”
