“Gabbi. Is. Amazing! I brought in my collection of vintage YuGiOh and Pokemon cards to sell. I was expecting to be offered a bulk price and low-balled for my Japanese Pokemon cards. Not only did Gabbi go through each one of my bulk cards, offering me a more than fair price for rare or 1st editions cards, she took the time to research cards she wasn't sure about. This includes being pleasantly surprised that my Japanese Pokemon cards ended up being the biggest ticket items. She was absolutely transparent through the whole process. She offered me fair price for everything. I would happily bring my collectibles to sell to her at Papa Joey's. I understand Papa Joey's is a small business in a niche market. The have rent, staff, overhead, and need to make a profit on everything they buy. I'll take below-market prices for my cards if it means supporting a local small business and not having to deal with trying to squeeze out every last cent of profit myself. At the end of the day, Papa Joey's will make sure my cards go to a good home with someone who will appreciate them more than I do now that I've moved on to other hobbies.”
