Privacy policy

CardsNearby is a directory of card shops and card shows. We collect as little as possible to run it.

What we collect. Standard analytics (pages viewed, approximate location from your IP, device type) via Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics. If you use the “current location” feature, your coordinates stay in a cookie in your browser to personalize nearby results — we don't store them on our servers. If you submit a form (claim, correction, contact), we store what you send, including your email if you provide it, solely to handle your request. Community rating votes are stored against an anonymized, salted hash — no account, no personal data.

What we don't do. No accounts, no selling or sharing personal data, no advertising trackers beyond the analytics above.

Business listings. Shop and show information is compiled from public sources (Google Places, business websites, promoter listings). Owners can request corrections or removal at any time.
