“While on vacation in San Diego, we made it a mission to visit as many card shops as possible, and Tito Rick’s Garage was by far our favorite experience of the entire trip. The selection of singles was incredible, and I was able to find so many cards for my master set, plus a bunch of additions for my cute binder. The prices were exceptional, and we even picked up a couple of sealed products that we were very happy with. We also had the chance to meet Rick, the owner, and he was awesome. He took the time to chat with us, was incredibly welcoming, and helped make the visit even more memorable. A special shoutout to the barista in the café as well, who was so kind and friendly. The whole shop has an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and browse for hours. One of the highlights of our trip was taking our booster bundles back and spending the evening opening packs together—it turned into the perfect Pokémon date night and made for a great vacation memory. If you're a collector, player, or just love trading cards, Tito Rick’s Garage is absolutely worth a visit. Out of all the card shops we visited in San Diego, this one stood out above the rest. We’ll definitely be back the next time we're in town”

“Came here for a collectibles meet up (cards and cars like Hotwheels, Auto World, etc.) and had a great time! I bought a little lowrider then was entered into a raffle where I won 2 Auto World Chase vehicles! That was the only prize I really wanted, too! How exciting! I feel very grateful for that. 🙏 I also bought a coffee here for myself and my brother-in-law. The only thing I would change about that is I wish they had milk alternatives. They only had whole milk available. Overall excellent experience and I hope to be back soon! Everyone was very nice and welcoming, non-judgemental, and that is what makes a great experience!!! “Tito Rick's is my favorite TCG shop in San Diego. Pricing is very fair and reasonable. They have a great variety of collectible items for all genres. Rick is a great guy and his shop vibe is welcoming and chill. The workers are nice and friendly. They're always hosting game nights or events. For example Pokemon paint nights, pop up food catering, and magic game nights. They have a very active social media so follow them on Instagram to get updates on the scheduling for their events. They also have coffee and food on the weekends(Friday, Saturday,Sunday). Their snack shop is also stacked with unique and tasty international snacks. The parking is limited because its on a main street but we always find a parking space. In conclusion, with the way the shop is ran, you can tell they are very passionate about what they do. Happy to have this type of shop in our community.”

“I found Tito Rick's Garage through Google and decided to check it out after seeing the generally positive reviews. After my visit, I'd say they were spot on. The shop carries most of the major current TCGs, including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and One Piece, along with other collectibles. There's also a café in the same building, which is a nice bonus if you're planning to hang out for a while. The storefront is clean, welcoming, and has plenty of seating to accommodate larger groups. For context, I don't actively play TCGs anymore; I mainly collect Magic and Pokémon. The store has a great setup for browsing. Higher-end singles are neatly displayed in glass cases, while more affordable cards can be found in well-organized binders and bulk boxes. Both Magic and Pokémon singles were fairly priced and in line with current market values. Sealed Magic products were reasonably priced as well. Sealed Pokémon products were definitely on the expensive side, but that's more a reflection of the current Pokémon market than anything specific to this shop. The biggest highlight of my visit was the customer service. You'd be surprised how many card shops these days barely acknowledge you when you walk through the door. That wasn't the case here. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly, "Hello! Is there anything I can help you with? I'll be here if you need anything." It may seem like a small gesture, but simply acknowledging customers and being polite goes a long way. I visited on a Saturday, picked up a few Pokémon singles, and had an overall great experience. The only downside was parking. The shop is located on a busy street without much immediate parking available, so I ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood and walking a short distance. Overall, I agree with the majority of the positive reviews. If you're in the area and collect or play TCGs, I'd definitely recommend stopping by Tito Rick's Garage. It's a clean, well-stocked shop with fair prices and, most importantly, friendly staff who make you feel welcome.”
