“I had a fantastic experience at Iron Lion Collectibles and have to share it. A little backstory: I have three kids who have recently discovered Pokémon. We’ve been devouring the TV shows, movies, and everything else Pokémon-related. It’s been a blast reliving my childhood with them. I still have a small collection of cards from over 20 years ago, and of course the kids loved seeing them. I explained how you buy packs and build decks (though I never quite figured out how to actually play). A week ago I promised them some cards as a prize. Having not bought Pokémon cards in 20 years, I was shocked to discover how hard they are to find in stores. After checking no fewer than eight stores and vending machines across a 100-mile radius, I came up empty. Empty shelves everywhere. There were even adults camped out at some vending machines. The few machines I could check were sold out of everything. I finally tracked some down at an Ace Hardware of all places and paid 2–3× over retail. The kids loved them, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Then this week we were in Colorado Springs and drove past Iron Lion Collectibles. I saw the Pokémon logo and decided to stop in. The kids practically begged to come with me. The store is beautifully laid out, the staff incredibly welcoming, and they have a wonderful selection of cards. My kids were in heaven looking through the cases. Best of all, they had booster packs at very reasonable prices. It ended up being one of the highlights of our whole trip. 10/10 — would definitely visit again. Highly recommend!”

I just came from another card shop close by and the experience was night and day. I didn't necessarily need to purchase anything. During the conversation, I felt the customer service was so awesome. “Super cool place and one of the nicest game stores I’ve been to! They had a great selection of Magic, One Piece, Pokémon and sports cards and were anti-scalper which is always great to see for us casual collectors! Hung out with Connor for a while and talked about his sweet CEDH decks but really everyone was very friendly! 11/10 wish I lived closer!”

“I love this shop! I come here weekly to pick out my new comics. Staff is friendly and always have my comic pulls ready when I come through the door. They also do a comic book night the first Saturday of every month and its a pretty cool way to meet other comic heads. They also do whatnot streams with pick up in store so that's another way that I'm able to get good deals on books.”
