“I’d never go back here again. EVER. I asked the kid behind the register is they bought comics he said they did and inspected my 18 comics. He asked me how much I wanted, I said make me an offer. He says it won’t be as high you’re looking for. I said no problem, try me. He offered $20 I said ok sold. Then he goes wait a minute, inspected the comics again, proceeds to tell me the condition isn’t good. He then referred me to 2nd & Charles, one of their competitors and said they’d probably give me more. What? At this point I’m shocked and confused as to exactly why this is happening. He then ceased making eye contact and began playing with his phone. Violating ethical practices like “a deal is a deal” is one thing but poor judgment, poor customer service, poor manners, and no ability or attempt to settle the matter equitably or professionally is something I take personally, having a customer service background. I just walked out. Somebody thank that kid!I think I will try 2nd and Charles after all. I certainly hope they treat military #veterans better there.”
