““Ogres are like onions... Ogres have layers.” - Shrek, Shrek You always scope a place out before you decide to drop by. And after reading a few reviews and browsing through some pics, I figured this place would be filler city with its dull white shelves nestled between some bland white walls peeking through random posters. I was wrong. Under that unassuming facade, there were racks filled with a wide selection of Xbox and PlayStation games. Glass display counters dedicated to NES, SNES, Sega, and GBA. Walls stacked with consoles and controllers... none of that mediocre filler trash you're used to. If I'm ever in Jacksonville again, I gotta give Games Galore more than 45 minutes before closing to show off its wares. Speaking of... shout out to the main guy ringing people up as they showed up closer and closer to closing time. Customer service 101. Pleasant tone with a 30-day assurance with every checkout. No beats skipped. Less of a shout out to the guy with 3 strands of slicked back hair trying to rizz up that random customer whose kid only liked chicken tenders. She was not feeling you. And you weren't feeling me either, lol. Couldn't help but make it obvious you were trying to not acknowledge or look at me for some reason. It's okay though. You're not my type either.”
