“The guy running the shop was super helpful and knowledgeable about Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic. They have a good assortment of all three, vintage and new, plus a good amount of sports cards. Prices are very reasonable! You have to walk around the front of the building, it's on the 2nd level behind the street front building.”

“People leaving 1-3 stars for not getting their buy price or sell price is freaking damn crazy salty review bombing lol. If it's "so cheap at xyz" then you can easily just buy it somewhere else then lol. My review is of their kahala kiosk. Not much in the way of ambiance just straight forward but this review is based upon trust and honesty. I bought girls band cry schwarz cards, mostly just for the waifu collection as I don't play. Maybe sell off the cards that have value to others but aren't cute to me. The 6 pack box is 45, and the online is 30, but as a mathematician the numbers weren't adding up. Then I read about how case hits are guaranteed only 1 per caseand so what ppl do is they bust boxes until the hit then sell off the dead boxes. This is why tcgplayer shows a lot of under cutting. Do not trust tcg player for union arena or schwarz cards. It's just scalpers and mass box openers selling off bulk dead boxes. There is no way ppl are selling for 30 instead of 45 for no reason. I bought 2 at the kiosk and the first row was already a nice hit with all good gbcr base foil hits but the second one confirms that aloha card does not map their arena or schwarz boxes. They sell the boxes. It makes sense because if we as a small island Community realize none of us are getting hits as a collective, the nerd community would call out this shop and it would die since local card shops depend on returning customers. I want to reaffirm other buyers at least anecdotally this shop is honest and does not map packs. No idea how many cases they have but I hope my post doesn't deter others from pulling gbc cards since I pulled a hit. The post is meant to improve their rating because I can appreciate honesty local shops. I'm a grad student at uh manoa with my name listed so you can also be sure I'm not some spam bit account trying to pad their shop as well. Just a legit nerd appreciating a small nerd card kiosk in the area since gecko books and collector maniacs went out of business years ago”

“I've visited here about half a dozen times over a few months. I think this shop has one of the most organized layouts of any shop on island. They display cards vertically on the perimeter walls which make it easy to find what you are looking for, as opposed to other shops that have overcrowded counter displays. The prices can be hit or miss, but you can still catch specific cards at fair market value if you do your research but be careful because they do have markups on items. The 5 star rating is primarily due to when I observed one worker help a new Pokemon collector. I appreciate how this person showed great patience in explaining different card rarities, told examples on checking different conditioning of cards (NM vs LP) and also recommended how to safely store them. This worker put a lot of effort into helping comp this customer's collection and deserves to be applauded.”

“We saw this card shop on Tiktok - They had a good amount of singles (nearly all marked above market price) and sealed product. I was most excited about their bulk cards, organized by set/era, but the selection was a little lacking, with some containers being empty. As a newer collector, I love seeing cards from old sets I haven’t seen before, so I do appreciate the option. I think the shop would benefit from clear pricing here - we asked an employee how much bulk cards without stickers were, and he told us 5 cents ea. When checking out, we were then told they were 20 cents ea. That’s fine, we still purchased the cards, but were a little disappointed by the change.”
