“A super fun spot to hang out and play board games! There’s an entrance fee with a suggested per-table spend on food and drinks. The game catalog is extensive, and the staff are friendly and patient & happy to explain rules and offer suggestions. The food and drinks are surprisingly good too - the cardamom latte was super tasty, and the key lime graham cracker dip was another standout and almost like a deconstructed cheesecake. Overall, a lively spot I’d happily return to for games and light snacks.”

“Been coming here for years -- super friendly staff, cozy vibes, great games selection, yummy food. * Vibe: well-lit (so you can see your game) but still cozy and chill! * Service: incredibly friendly service every time I've been here. staff have really fun recs from non-"thinky" to "thinky." they're also skilled at teaching games quickly to even a larger group of people. * Food: like way too good for a board game cafe. we've legit just ordered sandwiches to-go from here without playing any games lol. My faves are Creature comforts sandwich, pumpkin pie dip (or key lime depending on the season), veggies & housemade ranch, Faraway sandwich. * Price: very reasonable at $7 a game pass and $10 minimum food/drinks order. most sandwiches and cocktails are under $15, and snacks/desserts mostly under $10 * Games: great selection from simple/fast games to long or complex ones * Events: there's a lot of recurring events on the calendar + fun one-offs to keep things fresh! I've been to one of their mixers and had a lovely time. hope to make it out to more”

“Bonus Round is my favorite place in the city. I’ve been regularly going since before the pandemic. I’ve been there to play games alone, for dates, with groups of friends, and even celebrated my birthday there. I recommend it to everyone! I love the game selection and knowledge of the staff to help you learn, but also you can bring your own games to play (still have to pay for the game pass tho). They have low and high seats available. You can make reservations or walk in. I’ve also attended a lot of various events there, from queer game mixers to comedy shows. I love to buy games from them because they aren’t overpriced and you are supporting a small business. The food is great! I highly recommend the homemade honey fig goat cheese dip and the bbq jackfruit grilled cheese or bbq jackfruit quesadilla. Any of the snacks, including chips, will be store bought but the food I mentioned is made to order and the ingredients are always fresh! I always like their drink options as well, which rotate seasonally. Overall, this is a great place for any type of people and I just love it so much!!! 💜”
