Really cool store/space. Rare example of a friendly, collector/kid first Pokemon shop at a time where the hobby is crazier than ever. We even got a free pack that had a cool card! Will definitely swing by if in the area again! So nice to find somewhere that isn't all about the finances, graded cards etc.

THIS PLACE ROCKS. I’ve been here twice, and it’s a forty minute drive for me. It’s so worth it. The first time I went with some friends, I believe it was the husband who was working the counter. He was helpful, knew exactly where any cards he did have were, and helped us find cards like Lysandre’s trump card, which is not a rare, expensive, or sought after card, but he had it. He also let a couple of my friends play pool in the bar area, which to me is hilarious. They have a license to sell alcohol because they used to be a bar, and they have an awesome and pretty big area with a bunch of tables and a little bar. Anyway, first time was awesome, and I wanted to come back. So second time I came with a different friend, and I didn’t check what time they opened, so we got there early. Regardless, the wife let us in, and we shopped around for a while. There was a younger kid also there that she let in early with his mom, and she was very helpful and also fun, finding the kid some cards that he wanted, like the eeveeloutions. She also made some small talk with all of us while working, and was ridiculously sociable and also just fun to talk to. She was knowledgeable on the hobby, and both the husband and wife who own the shop definitely have a love for the experience that shines through. The cards are reasonably priced, and there is a lot of the cheaper cards that other places might not consider carrying because they don’t sell for a lot, but those cards are usually what a lot of people look forward to. I got a mega Mawile ex for one dollar, not because it was expensive or rare, but because the art was nice, and Mawile is one of my favorite Pokémon. Other places wouldn’t have stuff like that. They wouldn’t care enough, because it isn’t rare, or it doesn’t make a lot of money. This place makes me happy, because it feels like I’m in the company of people who enjoy Pokémon in a similar way that I do. The only things they could improve are little things: they have a temporary sign and conflicting signage because the shop is relatively new, and I hope they can get some signs soon, and I believe they have some AI generated images both outside and inside, and that always makes me both uncomfortable and a little sad. Still, none of those could make a meaningful detraction from the amazing time I’ve had going here with my friends, and I am in the process of negotiating with said friends to return.

Stumbled upon these guys while scrolling through Facebook. From the moment I walked in Dean made me feel welcomed and was extremely helpful. Him and his wife are the most amazing people and run an awesome card shop. Pricing is extremely reasonable and they have a wide variety of single cards to purchase. So glad there’s a local card shop that I can go to and feel comfortable and support their business. 10/10 the best people and shop around.
