“I am new to collecting and found myself landing a 4/5 card that I wanted to sell. I called a few shops to find out what was best because according to Google I had a grail. From the very first conversation to the last transaction the team at Northside Collectibles are by far the best! Approachable, knowledgeable, and most of all trustworthy. However my review, yes it is long and I do not write many is targeted at one person and the consignment end of the business. Brody heads up their consignment layer of the business and man that dude had some patience with me. I met the team in person, the card was quickly assessed and Brody laid it on the line. The card was not valued at what others had planted in my head and he took the time to show comps and explain why. Having just met this team and being hard headed I opted to leave that day without leaving my card on consignment to auction. What a mistake Review is long please read on!!! I put the card up for sale thinking I can do this for myself and get the value I felt was right. Mind you, Brody told all that could go wrong with my plan. My card sold after 7 days on auction and for far less than Brody had approximated it would go for if I had listed during week two of product release. Gets worse… the buyer turned out to be a scam, luckily I was able to cancel that transaction. Now four weeks later, I still have the card and still wanted to sell. The hype is gone, the card now shows it has been sold prior for a low number and everything Brody had cautioned me on was reality!!! Get this, I call Brody there was no “I told you so” just empathy and now a recharged Brody guiding me on what “we” need to do to get the card sold. In the end the card sold for a fair amount after all I had done to diminish its marketability. This very long story short… If you are looking to sell a card on consignment save yourself some time and uncertainty and call Northside Collectibles. Brody is by far dedicated, honest, knowledgeable, and ready to work for you. Hats off to Northside and I will end with Brody is The Man!”
