“I first walked into RK Collectibles back in December on a whim, and it’s a testament to how they run their business that I’m now there every other week. If you want to know what a genuinely honest, trustworthy, and world-class local card shop looks like, this is it. The shop itself is incredible—packed floor to ceiling with inventory, with UPS constantly dropping off fresh product direct from distributors. But honestly, it’s the people who make this place stand out. Jason, Ryan (the owner), and everyone in the shop are beyond reproach. You can tell they aren't just running a cash register; they are massive hobbyists themselves who truly love the community, both inside the shop and out in public. Jason is incredibly thoughtful and goes out of his way to make sure every single person who walks through the door feels welcome and taken care of. And even when the shop is absolutely swamped, Ryan still makes a point to carve out time for every single customer. As a collector, trust is everything, and these guys operate with a level of integrity that is almost impossible to find in this hobby anymore. They are completely transparent. If you are selling cards to them, they pay incredibly fair and honest prices. If you are buying, they price their stuff fairly, too. More than that, they have spent so much time just sitting down with me, looking over my collection, and giving me expert advice on whether something is actually worth sending off to grade or not. They never try to make a quick buck off you; they actively look out for your best interests. It’s rare to find a business you can trust this completely.
