Now, almost two decades later, Ms. Teresa has retired, and my own kids are the same age I was when I first walked through those doors.The shop is now run by a local family and they’ve created the kind of welcoming, family atmosphere that makes customers—my family included—feel at home. The effort that has been put into constructing a welcoming comic shop experience is clear, should you need help they are more than happy to provide it, if you'd rather just spend an hour or two flipping through the large selection of comics and collectibles unbothered, they can provide that too. Stronghold is a Lafayette staple and whether you are a long time collector or just curious to see what's in store, you should absolutely give them a try.”
