“I found out about this shop the day I was leaving town. It was a Monday and they open at 11. Went down to the French Market before to pass some time and then walk down to the shop. Ended up meeting the owner of the shop at the market, and met her son at the shop later! My group ended up purchasing several decks of playing cards, tarot cards, an oracle deck, and a book. We also received some really cool prints and they gave us all of the background information. One of the playing decks of cards our group purchased were designed in house, which is super cool! Also bought some waterproof card decks - great for poker or euchre nights. I cannot believe the amount and types and genres of cards they have! Literally something for EVERYONE. Great selection of Tarot and Oracle decks, as well as games, DND dice, books, prints, and other related items. But the best part was the customer service and atmosphere! No high pressure sales techniques and no gimmicks. It was just comfortable, they were there to answer questions but not in your face. They told us about some of the legends of the city and how it came to be. They gave me some good suggestions for decks that were made by local artists and I love that! Thank you for the experience, I will be back next time I am in New Orleans!”
