“Awesome shop!!! 🔥Definitely more heavily focused on comics, but for someone just getting into the comic world, it's perfect! The guy working was incredibly helpful & knowledgeable, he gave me many resources, advice, information AND grabbed me some card protectors w/ a free bonus 100 pk of penny sleeves.. all right at closing time. I was worried & trying to rush out, but I think I was more concerned than he was 😅 it was very sweet, as more often than not, the last customer before close anywhere else is all but pushed out the door & he made me feel better about it.. I don't usually like to be that person lol. Great first visit - 10/10 will be back! Thanks guys!”

The owner, Rocky has always been a wonderful guy and I enjoyed discussing MTG with him and making sales. Prices are always reasonable and it's nice to find cards I'm looking for too. “I’m pretty involved in the Pokémon TCG community. I open products regularly, post content, and leave reviews for a lot of card shops around Grand Rapids. Unfortunately, this is not one I can recommend. My first visit was for a perfect order ETB at market and the transaction was quick, so I didn’t leave a review at the time. Since then, I’ve stopped in a few more times, and every experience has been disappointing. The younger employee is rude, doesn’t greet customers, and talks down to people as if they know nothing about the hobby. Most questions are answered with “I don’t know, I just sell them,” or “Nope.”then openly admits he don’t know any thing about cards I have in on my ai glades to lol . It completely kills the atmosphere of what could otherwise be a cool store. My biggest issue was Chaos Rising ETBs. Every other local shop was already selling them, and this store had plenty stocked on the shelf after release day. When I asked the price, I was told they weren’t for sale yet because they were “waiting for updated prices.” A few minutes later, another employee came out and said they would be priced at $270 based on TCGPlayer prices. Charging over 100% above MSRP on a newly released product is disappointing and makes it seem like profit matters more than supporting the hobby. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend shopping here.”
