“Golden Rhino is one of the best FLGSs I know of for tabletop wargaming and related hobby stuff. They have a huge selection of GW, including online only stuff and a case of used models. They also carry loads of other game systems, with a pretty wide variety of Warlord Games kits amongst other things. They have nearly every brand of hobby paints and supplies, even green stuff world. Its nice. The owner, Ian, is a very friendly guy and the store is always clean and orderly. The love and passion he has put into the place is very apparent. Its a great store. I visit every time I’m in Michigan.”

“I just wanted to say Em is the gold standard of customer service. I’ll be honest, what first caught my attention was a simple phone call with Em from Golden Rhino. From that first conversation, she was incredibly personable, thoughtful, and genuinely charismatic. I told her about my 8yo old’s love for Pokémon, but also shared my past frustrations with scalpers and the uncomfortable experiences we’d had elsewhere. She listened like a true pro. When we finally made it to the store, Em didn’t just help us, she went above and beyond any definition of “customer service.” She helped me set up Discord, took the time to engage with my son, and made him feel like the most important person in the room. My boy hasn’t stopped talking about her or the shop since. I can honestly say we’ve finally found a place where we feel safe, welcome, and excited to shop for cards. Em was super informative, patient, and made my son’s entire day. We walked out with Pokémon cards we’d been searching for and a newfound loyalty to Golden Rhino. And who am I kidding? The whole staff was welcoming and awesome. But as a fellow business owner, I know that customer service is priority #1 and Em absolutely nailed it. Couldn’t let this moment pass without sharing.
