“This shop has built one of the most welcoming and supportive communities I’ve experienced. Even if you’re brand new, people are always willing to help, answer questions, teach you how to play, and make you feel included. You can tell they genuinely care. Their pricing is also the best I’ve seen at any card shop. Singles are priced fairly based on condition, and they don’t gouge sealed products like many other shops do. I’ve seen some complaints about pricing taking a while, but that’s just the reality of doing things the right way. Each card has to be inspected and priced accurately, which takes time, especially when multiple people are in line with stacks of cards. Given how busy they get, I think they manage it really well. At the end of the day, this is a shop run by real people who care about fairness, their community, and doing things the right way. I will always support that. 🤍”

“Good atmosphere, but the lady that works there was a smart ass and would take forever to get to doing her job. I waited longer for her to check me out than I did actually looking for cards. There was also a guy before me that was checking out cards (clearly new to the hobby) he brought up some cards to have her check the prices and she proceeded to tell him to look up the prices on his own or make a list. She then had an attitude with him and made another customer put the cards back up for her. I would definitely not come here if this is how their regular staff acts. Do your job better.”

“Me and my husband were new to this town and needed a new card shop to spend time at, we were very excited to see there was Down to Game. We have been there about 5-6 times. We are paying customers. After our last visit today, we have decided to never give buiness to them again! There is this lady that works there, I don't know her name or her position but she is RUDE!! Every single time we go in either she completely ignores us, or she gives a very condescending and rude attitude. HORRIBLE customer service skills. The other staff are nice, informative, and attentive. She is our only problem and we have tried to ignore it but she is CONSTANTLY there. She will cut you off, has a attitude with her voice, says rude things, and she acts like you are stupid. Today we tried to get packs and she attended to a customer behind us after speaking to us and said directly to the customer "finally someone I can help" If she's behind the counter I recommend you walking straight out. As a woman I would think more women working in the TCG feild would support and uplift people with an appropriate customer service and a kind attitude but her attitude is why most women don't feel accepted into the card community.”

“Was looking to find a new local card shop to find new community of TCG players. I had a good impression at first but there was one female employee that was mean, had a bad tone, lack of respect, and generally was not welcoming at all. She was talking to me condescendingly and kept interrupting when I was trying to say I am familiar with the basic concept of most card games. I don’t want to keep going to this shop when I am being spoken to like a toddler. Great people and staff she just ruins the whole vibe.”
