“If you’re a comic fan and find yourself in Columbia, Rock Bottom Comics is absolutely worth a stop. At first glance, it’s a small shop and a bit of a tight squeeze, but don’t let that fool you. Take a deep breath and start looking around, because this place is packed with just about anything you could want, along with plenty of books you didn’t even know you needed until you saw them. John, the owner, is hands down the most helpful local comic shop owner I’ve ever met. I’m from out of town and always make a point to visit local comic shops when I travel, and John stands out from the rest. He takes the time to ask what you enjoy reading, talks comics with you, and then pulls out multiple recommendations that fit your interests. It’s clear he genuinely loves comics and cares about helping customers discover their next favorite series. I’m so glad I ignored a few negative reviews and stopped in. If I could give Rock Bottom Comics 10 stars, I would. Great selection, outstanding customer service, and an owner who truly cares about both comics and the people who read them. I’ll be stopping in every time I’m back in Columbia.”
