If you like Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, or any tabletop you can imagine, there is something for everyone. I have been there for a few Magic events as well and it is always a super busy and fun time! One of my favorites for sure!”

“This is one of the only card shops not around STL and I desperately want to like this store but the atmosphere makes it really hard to want to come back daily / weekly. The shop is really cluttered and it seems like anything and everything that could even be considered as part of a TCG is stapled up on the wall and ceiling. The lighting is really bad too. It always feels like I'm entering into a dingy basement that's not been looked at for a year or two. It's not dark enough to be unbearable or unusable for gaming but it is enough to be offputting but it could be a me thing. That said though, RI Printing is down the sidewalk and a smaller space for customers yet it feels like 2x the size of gameuphoria and feels like a shop not a basement. Also doesn't really feel like there's any love or care for players, new or old, if you're not in the middle of a transaction with the main guy i always see running the shop. Guessing the owner but didn't want to assume. Been in and out over the past 2 years now and it doesn't feel like there's a desire to build a community or interact with people coming into the shop outside of a transaction. I've only ever seen non-staff members help and teach new people into card games or 40k. I really wish it felt and looked more welcoming though so please don't take this review as a personal attack. I hate that I have to travel all the way to Yeti games or further for a shop that feels welcoming. I really think getting some new lights and re-arranging the shop some could really help out and no crazy expenses would be needed to fix the shop. I use to be a T.O. for a bunch of games and shops in KCK and I just miss the card game scene / community and was hoping to find my home at gameuphora.”

“A DISAPPOINTING Friday Night Magic experience! Magic companion app says register and tournament starts at 19:00 (7:00). I arrive, quick to realize hearing from the store employee that everyone had started about 2 hours earlier and it was basically a free-for-all on what to join. I hadn't been told that previously, so I sat there for about 20 minutes or so before packing my stuff up and getting my pack without playing a single game. Not sure if this is normal over there, but as someone who plans around whatever time the companion app tells me to be there, this is very much poor etiquette to start so early. Very disenchanting from someone who drives an hour round trip just to play every week.”
