“I've been going to Monsters and Mayhem since January 2026, and every visit has been a great experience. Whether I'm playing games or just browsing the store, I always have a great time. Every employee I've interacted with has been incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. West Reno was truly lacking a tabletop gaming store like this, and I'm so glad Monsters and Mayhem opened in the area. The quality of both the products and the community they've built is outstanding. It's always a little bittersweet to see the booster packs and games I love sell out because of their popularity, but it just shows how much the community supports the store. Monsters and Mayhem is a must-visit anytime I'm in the area. I 100% recommend it for parties, casual game nights, learning new games, and local tournaments. There's always an event happening, making it a fun place to meet fellow gamers and be part of the community. Stop by! You won't be disappointed!”

“Probably the best LGS I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff is friendly and everybody remembers me. The store is very clean and well stocked. They A mix of modern board games, role-playing games and tabletop boardgames, Along with plenty of paint and all the miniatures you need to play them. The section of miniature is huge and not just limited to Warhammer. They have an entire aisle, dedicated to D&D minis in case you want to play with those. They also have a decent selection of BattleTech, but they seem to sell out pretty quick. Warhammer and warhammer 40k is still by far their biggest section. The selection of paint is huge. They have all the major brands and are even starting to carry some AK products like their texture pasts. Their pricing on wargames and paints seem to be pretty close to MSRP. You won’t find a special Deal on warhammer or paint like some established major online retailers, but you will find a small cheerful business that actively tries to cater to its regulars needs. Sometimes the paint has been cheaper than online retailers, which fluctuate depending on how rare the paint is and how long it’s been sold out, because they stick to MSRP. I got my workshop paints for about $.50 less than if I ordered them off Amazon. Thanks Tony for keep them fair in the face of others price hikes! I’ll take a steady price over gambling online. During my last visit, I had come in to buy myself a battletech blind box as a treat, because I had just finished oral surgery. The owners were very concerned for my well-being and actually talked with me for a while. They genuinely care about customers and I’ve gotten to know them quite well. They don’t even mind if I just browse for a while and end up not buying anything. They never try to push product on me. I think I’ve actually spent more time talking to them and hanging out than i have shopping. They don’t even get bothered if I order models from somewhere cheaper. They know not all of us can afford to pay what a small new business like them has to charge. I know many game stories will do that 20% or 15% markdown on their minis and just make up the difference in volume of sales, But this place hasn’t been open long enough yet to get that kind of flow. I also don’t mind paying full price in a pinch when I have the money. Often if i need a mini I can typically count on them to have what i need which is well worth paying MSRP. Most places that do discount pricing are sold out anyway. Overall, it’s a pretty awesome place. Again, don’t go here If you’re looking to score some 20% discount that you saw another online retailer doing and then complain on google about it. Go here if you want that friendly in person experience and the ability to buy your miniature same day in a clean store with owners that are always taking suggestions.”

“Great place! Has a great selection of paints, and primers. Fair selection of Brushes for the hobby. It's more of a D&D store with a large selection of minis for the game along with dices and Cards for Magic and other Card games. monsters and Mayhem also has a smaller selection of Warhammer 40k and AOS. And a small selection of Battletech. They even have the first box for Trench Crusade ( German foot soldiers ). Living out on the Boonies West of Reno this is the place to go if your on the Westside of Reno and the outskirts. They even have tables for D&D and Magic. I don't know if you can get a table for 40k or other mini centric games nor do I know if they charge by the hour or if like Comic kingdom you pay a flat rate. I try to split my hobby money between Monsters and Comic kingdom and will go though either one before buying from Amazon as I want my money to support local. Stop by check it out, it's a very well done up store and has a lot of cool items if your into the hobby.”

“Walking in, you are immediately greeted with a smile and a bubbly "Hi! Welcome in!". The store neatly organized and featured games right in front for you to check out. Aisles are well labeled and each section cleverly divided, inviting an efficient and comfortable shopping experience. The atmosphere invites a genuine sense of comfort, home, and passion for the hobby. They have all types of games from TCGs, TTRPGs, Board Games, War Games, and many other components that satisfy your gaming needs. They offer tables for rent to play all your favorite games which include a game library that allow all types of people to enjoy eachothers company through games. They offer light drinks and snacks for the heavy gamers that like to stay for a while. The selections are easy to navigate while allowing support from staff members. Staff is kind, caring, and willing to take any and all feedback. They exude a friendly vibe that makes you feel like youre family. They are all amazing to talk to and you can tell almost immediately, they love being there. They do not make you feel pressured, or even overly babysat. They continue to allow you to feel supported and open for any assistance you need. Overall, this new store fosters a warm community to come hangout and feel at home. Definitely recommend, anyone else who might tell you otherwise, come in and check it out for yourself.”
