“If you're anywhere in the Lake Norman or Charlotte area and you collect, Lucky Box Sports Cards is the shop you want to be in. Chris, the owner, is genuinely one of the most fair and honest guys you'll find in the hobby. His pricing is always reasonable — never the inflated markups you run into at a lot of shops — and he prices things to move, not to gouge. What really sets Lucky Box apart is how much Chris cares about the people walking through the door. He's taken real time to help me learn the hobby — everything from understanding card values to knowing what to look for. That kind of guidance is rare, and it's made collecting a lot more fun and a lot less intimidating. The single card selection is excellent, and the prices on singles are hard to beat. Whether you're chasing a specific rookie, a player PC, or just digging through boxes, you'll find great cards at fair numbers ( I also think people are quick to forget that this is still a business so yeah you need to make some money somewhere). On top of that, it's just a great time hanging out in the shop — Chris always has the newest Topps products on hand, and ripping packs and boxes in-store is a blast. There's nothing like pulling something great right there at the counter with people who are just as into it as you are. Do yourself a favor and stop in. “Love love love this store. My son and I are new to the hobby and have been to store after store looking for a sports card home. Luckily...we found Lucky Box. It doesnt matter if you're a beginner or veteran in the hobby, this is the place to dedicate your shopping experience to. They are truly professionals but what I LOVE most is how personable they are. We arent big spenders compared to some in the hobby, but they alway take the time to work with us, guide us in the right direction, and offer professional advice. Jason, is my absolute favorite. Chris is awesome too but Jason is my dude. Since day 1 they have been absolutely awesome. My son is a little introverted, shy, and really doesn't like talking to people not in his circle. He is so incredibly at home here that he jokes with the guys, talks about cards, and ask important questions; to me, thats what its about. The hobby is absolutely booming. Lucky Box has card options in several different varieties; from Sports, Marvel, Disney, and more. They also offer several pricing options from beginners to veteran collectors. Excellent selection.
