“In 1989 my mom took me to ACME Comics in Greensboro, NC, and I bought some Batman comics (freshly in love with the character after the Tim Burton movie). Then, from 1989 to 1998 I collected comic books. I loved everything about it; including setting up a subscription box and getting to know everyone and going in every other week to pick up my new books. But then I kinda got away from it over the years... I still have all my old books: Battlechasers, Quantum and Woody, Crimson and, of course, copious Xmen, Batman, Supes and Captain America. Today I got to experience the joy of that again with my teenage daughter when we visited Memory Lane. I felt like that 14 year old kid again. And my daughter got to experience that feeling too. I love this comic shop... with all of my heart. First of all, their selection is perfect. They have exactly the right amount titles. Also, the vibe is just right - the toys and memorabilia hanging from the ceiling and all over the walls... so much fun! And they feature some artwork from local artists which we thought was super cool. But then... the people. The people that work there are genuinely the coolest people I've encountered in a store like this. So nice! I really can't say enough good things about them - I feel like our lives are better for having crossed paths with all of them. If you're looking for the best comic shop in Wilmington... this is it. I'm so thankful to the store and the staff as I was able to share something with my daughter that I love and it was such a fun experience for us both. We'll be back in a few weeks to get our next month's comics!”

“Been going for years when I’m in the downtown area, so apologies for the late review! This is such a great local comic shop. Huge selection and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve never felt unwelcome as a novice comic book reader or when I bring my younger son in, the staff is always super helpful and encouraging. Support your local comic book shop!”
