A gentleman there took the time to explain about a card game that I had never heard about called overpower. Was a really nice time and took me back to what it felt like to go to a local shop. Next time I come to columbus for an event I will be stopping back in.”

“Heroes & Games, inside the Columbus Convention Center, is a gem for comics, tabletop games, trading cards, and collectibles. Parking is easiest in the garage by the Drury Plaza Hotel—take the elevator down and you’ll find it tucked near a seating area. They keep a strong selection of current comics, plus gold, silver, and bronze-age issues in great condition. I am now the owner of one of my personal holy grails—The Avengers #16 (1963)! 🦸‍♂️💥 Owning this slice of comic book history is a dream come true, and the condition is absolutely stellar! Prices are fair—current comics sell at cover price, and even variants or limited editions are discounted. While graded items are rare, the owner has some hidden gems if you ask located throughout the store and racks. It’s a smaller shop, but well-stocked and constantly rotating inventory. I’ll definitely be back to hunt more classic comics and hard-to-find issues.”
