“*EDIT* I’m updating my review after returning and speaking with one of the owners. He agreed that they unintentionally gave the Gundam card in question an inflated asking price by referencing its Lightly Played market value, which in this instance was atypically higher than the Near Mint value. He explained that the issue would have been resolved immediately had the employee called him and explained the situation. If something seems off and an employee tells you it’s just company policy, I recommend requesting he or she contact one of the owners. Sean was really cool and left me with a positive impression of the store. Original two-star review below. —- Visited specifically to look at Gundam card game singles. The store did have some inventory, which was nice to see since Gundam support is still fairly limited in this region. Unfortunately, I had a frustrating experience with pricing. I found a card marked as Lightly Played for around $40, even though Near Mint copies were readily available on TCGPlayer from multiple sellers for about $27. When I pointed this out, the employee explained that their pricing system was based on the TCGPlayer market price specifically for Lightly Played copies. Technically, that may have matched their system, but it didn’t make much practical sense given that Near Mint copies were selling for significantly less. I wasn’t expecting online pricing exactly, but charging substantially more for a worse-condition copy felt unreasonable. To be fair, the employee himself was polite and didn’t seem rude about it. This felt more like a store policy/pricing philosophy issue than an individual staff problem. If you shop here for singles, I would strongly recommend checking current market listings and conditions carefully before purchasing.”

“Nice place with super friendly people. They had brand new pokemon product at incredibly fair prices. Even limited to prevent people buying them all. I didnt feel like anything was unfairly priced. Their open bulk cards are cheap too. The staff was great and actually feels like part of the community instead of the scalper business model of other shops in the area. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is the arbitrary system to price check the cards sitting in the case right in front of you. I dont understand that at all. Just label those too lol. Otherwise, great place! Will shop again”
