For me it's all about the unique stuff. Underground, indie, bizzare, oddball, explicit, deep cuts. I'm always finding the craziest books here. “I'm glad to see FWC keeping the spirit of Simpsons Comic Book Guy alive with their "Can't be bothered to say hi while catering to a ghost town" vibe as the three of us entered. The place was at least laid out decent. Like true wannabes, their single issue new comics lay tattered on the shelves with no bags and boards. We spent 15 minutes looking around and I even found a hard to find French comic I'd been looking for for years, but alas, it was left on the shelf because the staff couldn't be bothered with us the entire time. I guess since I didn't fit the stereotype of a collector of 40+ years, I couldn't even get a "hello".”
