The SportsRoom

“I knew I would need help when I was ready to sell my late husband’s large collection of cards/memorabilia. I researched a few card shops & decided on The SportsRoom. On my first visit we discovered my late husband & the original owner had the same name which sealed the deal. Nathan, Scott, Rick & Justin are great to work with - Scott mentored me through the PSA grading process for my MJ rookie card & bought my collection for a great price. They even have a donation box where they collect items without much value & use them as giveaways for kids at events they have at their shop. I love the vibe in the shop - it’s a great place to hangout & look through all they have to offer. If you are looking for a card shop the SportsRoom is the real deal. Thanks guys!!”

“Its been years since I've been to this shop, and I definitely felt the changes. The new owners were very attentive and welcoming. In the wild was an Eddie Murray rc. It was a fair price and something I wanted in my collection, and it being an opc made it cooler. Grabbed a blaster of topps chrome update and left. I only spent 15 minutes there, only cause it was bustling due to the holidays. I will be back sooner than later.”

“We stopped here with my dad and my two boys because we’re new to the hobby and WHAT A BLAST. I just love card shops and the owner or who I can assume is the owner even broke open a donruss football hobby box for us. My dad and I and this other man started breaking packs and just having a good time. We bought a couple singles and chatted with the guy who provided us even free penny sleeves. The other nice customer even gave my son a Pokemon card! This card shop embodies what I believe the sport/hobby is all about. Rippin packs and having fun talking about players etc. keep up the good work and I’m glad we found this gem. Although we’re from out of town anytime I’m in the Portland area I’m stopping by.”

“Never have I heard my boyfriend get genuinely upset over the way someone treated him until this experience. He went into the shop hoping to sell some of his sports cards, and the employee wrote down offer amounts on a sticky note. My boyfriend politely declined and said, “That’s too low for me, but thank you anyway.” Instead of responding professionally, the employee ripped up the offer sheet right in front of him without saying a word and walked away. No courtesy, no customer service, and no basic human decency. We’ve now been here twice, and after this experience, we will not be returning. I’d recommend thinking twice before supporting this establishment.”
