“If you’re the kind of person who also gets warm and fuzzy community feelings from an inspirational small business, you will appreciate Sammi’s Heartfelt Treasures. This is a store with an inspirational owner, a BUNNY who LIVES there, and an amazing inventory that kept me there for hours. It’s a craft store but it does not limit itself. Michele, store owner and master crafter, told my grandma and I that if we couldn’t find something we wanted there, she’d find a way to get it made!!! I never even planned on walking in to this charming vendor consignment store and I definitely did not expect to make an emotional human connection with the owner that really lifted me up. This place has good stuff and great people. It reminded me of how beautiful it actually is for resilient community builders to not only take the first leap, but show up each day to make their vision a reality. Right near State Street in Erie, just a block away from some other classics like the Purrista Cat Cafe, I recommend taking a look inside Sammi’s Heartfelt Treasures to shop, chat with Michele, and/or make friends with a Bunny (who’s name is Buns BTW). I know I will stop by every time I’m in the area :)”
