“The Nerd Place is one of my favorite card shops in the area. They host fun events often ranging from riftbound skirmishes to pokemon rip parties, even learn to play events for different card games. I like that their binders usually have some pretty cool singles at decent prices, and they even have a good amount of bulk cards the leave in a free basket so kids can get some cards (periodically i stop by to drop off bulk in the basket lol) they have binders, playmats, card sleeves, funko pops, and other collectibles. Pretty good stop for people who like to collect cards. Their stock varies, but they tend to have packs on drop day for a fair price! (Better than other card shops i have seen in the area at least) They announce events that they are hosting on their facebook page, so it is good to check them out on facebook to see what they have going on! They also have an instagram where they will announce random restocks every so often! Their staff is friendly and pretty well informed on their card games. Sell pricing varies on whether you ask for cash or in store credit. Overall i enjoy coming here a good amount, especially for the pokemon rip parties! Unfortunately for the last one (ascended heroes) evil scalpers camped out and sold out all the spots for it, but hopefully i can make the next one! (I skipped perfect order rip party because i had gotten cards on drop day!) great place for kids that like cards, they sometimes have stock that they only sell to kids! It goes quick though! I will call ahead before driving over if there is something i am looking for and they are usually pretty good about answering questions you may have on the phone!”

“With a name like The Nerd Place, I had high expectations. And they did not disappoint. Large open spaces, clean and well stocked selection, comfy chairs and couches, lots of tables, gaming rigs, and consoles to play. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was there for a birthday party, we had our own private room, snacks and drinks were provided along with pizza. Great for any special event for a small to mid sized group. If you like nerdy stuff, I highly recommend checking this place out”

“Hidden gem for sure. Had 3 totes full of action figures, pops, hot wheels, etc in my trunk. Got stuck in a bind about 40 miles from home and had to sell the toys. It isn't easy finding a store that buys toys on the spot. They gave me a price that was a bit lower than I wanted, but still fair. Ill def do business with them again. Kyle, you r the man. Thank u”

“Easily one of the best spots around. I've only been in three times so I'm unsure of your names but all four staff members made me and my kids feel welcome. Staff is attentive and communicated very well. As well as joked with my daughter. Came in for the scarlet and violet rivals and reign of jafar and got to pull the chase Team Rocket Mew-Two. Thank you guys! Edit: After coming here for a long time it seems they are turning into more scalpers than anything. Offering 50% and 60% cash for cards valued at several hundred dollars market value seems wrong when your store charges between 100% and 120% market on all singles with no negotiation room ever. I could see the smaller cards sure but anything over $100 should be much higher margins. Charging 50+ for first partner collection? That's as scummy as it gets I literally bought 3 for 17.99 each from Walmart and the next morning nerd place has them for 50 to 55? Even if they didn't scalp them themselves why would they buy from scalpers to resell at higher scalper prices? Their just as wrong as the scalpers at that point. Charging 10 for phantasmal and 12 for ascended heros is just wrong and if they have to because they bought from scalpers and have to resell at higher prices, maybe DONT? these sets are NEW... Always thought it strange they pre ordered so much product for the last few releases and the last like 3 releases their were always "problems" and they didn't get as much as they ordered but always have them for scalper prices one to two weeks after....”
