“I have been living in this area for 25 years. When I first moved here, it was a tough place to live due to safety concerns for me and my family. I always had to take extra precautions to ensure our safety. However, one business that has remained in the community is this comic shop. I used to bring my kids here when they were younger. It was a place for us to escape into a different world away from the hustle and bustle of the fast-paced neighborhood life. Visiting this shop brings back so many memories. Seeing the amazing comic collection they have always felt like a dream come true. My kids loved it too. From their wide range of comics to collectibles and games, this store has a lot of charm. I am happy that they have survived the changes in the neighborhood. The owner, Bill, who I met for the first time, is a very nice man with a lot of history in the area. I highly recommend visiting this shop. You will find unique comic books that are hard to find elsewhere, and their knowledge of collectibles and comics is extensive.”

“Ontario Street Comics is an amazing hidden gem. A must for any comic book fan living in or visiting Philly. More than just comics, this huge building has sports cards and collectibles, in addition to other types of trading cards, manga, toys, collectibles, and more and more comics. It is a great place to treasure hunt and the staff can help you find what you are looking for. It was the first comic book store I’ve ever been to and it’s still one of my favorites!”

“We have been coming here for many years. We enjoy all the special occasions like Batman Day, Free Comic Book Day, etc but our whole family always finds other items to buy during our visits as well. The store is cavernous and has comics for the whole family. My husband loves new releases while I like to search through the vintage titles.”
