Some friends and I checked out Goat Gamers earlier today, and I'm so glad we did. Inside, it was super dark with neon lights and rows of computers and consoles. Brought me back to my old LAN gaming days, camping out in internet cafes! It was a great hit of nostalgia. Everything in there is super new, though. The owner (incredibly nice dude who walked us through everything and showed us how it all worked) was peeling film off the computer towers, that's how shiny and new it all was. The system they use is a program that launches a bunch of games they have licenses for (stuff like Fornite, Warframe, etc.) but we were able to use our own Steam libraries to play. Downloads were quick and easy. There's a little snack bar with candy, chips, energy drinks, water, etc. and a projector that plays movies, clips, and such on the walls. There is also a lot of comfy seating, something I'm not used to seeing at places like these--it's usually just bean bags or cafe chairs. One of my favorite things about the cafe is that there were a bunch of little areas that had just, like, one couch, a console, a screen, so you could have a little more solitude while still gaming and doing stuff. Overall, I had an awesome experience. Going back tomorrow! Thank you!

New game center, its $8.99 per hour for pc, its a cheaper alternative to not having a computer at home, just entering gaming, or if you have friends visiting but not enough computers for the whole gang! There currently is no reservation system, showing up is allowed, and there is free parking behind the building next to a mural. The trio running the place were super helpful, answered all of our questions and were super patient, passionate, and polite to all 5 of us. They have mostly PC gaming which is 27 gaming and 2 more for VR that will be setup later. They do have 2 and a half NIntendo game setups, 2 Xbox, and a PS5 setup. Theres a sun room for us who wants to see the light of day but not go outside, and then the rest of the place has black light which is super cool! 😎 They also have a area in the back specially for card gamers or even board games! They havent started yet, but they also plan to help with PC repair and more! ☺️

Great establishment that really cares about what it means to be a gamer. It reinvents what made in-person console and pc play so exciting back in the day by providing a place for everyone to have fun and experience their favorite games with others. Goat Gamers Lounge includes multiple consoles (Xbox, PS5s, Nintendo Switches), a VR station, and a large number of PCs to accommodate a number of groups and experiences. Along with the consoles, VR, and PCs, Goat Gamers Lounge has spaces for tournaments, tabletop gaming, and co-working. The owners are great people who really care about the gaming community in Pittsburgh (and beyond) as well as the community they are currently building and fostering at Goat Gamers Lounge. Definitely recommend. It’s going to be a recurring visit for my friend and I to hang out, play video games, and meet people we otherwise would never meet.

Haven’t been here yet but I know it’s going to kick ass when I go this month. I already know I am going to make my friends come to my 37th birthday here. I stand by all these things. Glad a gamer place has opened up after LFG brookline closed and never reopened.
