“We have been to Murph's Card Town many times over the last few months and have always been greeted with a hello and smile. Murph's shop is well organized. He has a wealth of knowledge and is extremely helpful! He is kind, patient, and great with young card collectors like my son (who is a big Pokemon and sports card collector). Murph is honest and fair in trades and pricing. We can't recommend this shop enough! We have been to quite a few around the state of RI and Murph's is by far the best selection and service. Even if you're not local to this part of RI, pack a snack and take the drive. It's worth it!!”

“I had a very positive experience with the owner and truly appreciate the way he conducts himself. During my first visit, things didn’t go as well as I had hoped, and looking back on it, I take responsibility for my part in how the situation was handled. I didn’t approach it as maturely as I should have, and I’m glad I chose to come back with a different mindset. Giving the shop a second chance turned out to be the right decision. After taking the time to talk things through, both of us were able to acknowledge where things went wrong and move forward on good terms. That conversation made a big difference, and it showed me that the owner is genuinely a kind and reasonable person who cares about his customers. During my second visit, I ended up both buying and selling cards, and everything went smoothly. The overall experience was enjoyable, and it honestly felt like a completely different atmosphere. We even had some fun with a coin flip deal, which added a unique and memorable element to the visit. I did end up losing the flip, but I didn’t mind paying the extra ten dollars since I still felt like I got a fair deal in the end. (Quick tip: if you go for a coin flip, maybe don’t pick heads.) Overall, I’m very happy I decided to come back and give things another chance. The shop has a great selection of cards, and the owner is someone who is worth getting to know. If anyone has had a less-than-perfect experience in the past, I’d strongly recommend giving it another shot and having a conversation—you might be pleasantly surprised. I would gladly return to this store again and again. If I could, I’d rate it 6 out of 5 stars. Thank you murph!”
