The staff prioritized us immediately and spent nearly seven hours carefully going through everything, researching values, answering questions, and making sure we understood the process every step of the way. What impressed me most was their honesty and transparency. They were incredibly forthcoming about pricing, explained how they arrived at values, and never made us feel pressured or rushed. Throughout the entire process, they were patient, fair, and professional. The staff was not only extremely knowledgeable about the hobby, but also genuinely kind, personable, and easy to talk to. It’s rare to find a business willing to dedicate that much time and effort to helping customers, especially on such short notice. The store was very clean, had a lot of tables to play at, and the tournament was well organized and transparent. On my most recent visit, the shop was closed because they were moving locations, which I found out after calling them. The owner (i believe) happened to be at the mall and was able to accommodate me despite the store being closed. “Highly recommend! We found Animal House Cards after our 5 year old got into Pokemon and quickly made the best of friends with Thomas! From the first time we walked in, we were welcomed by all staff and all customers. They took the time to talk with him, answer his (many!) questions, and make him feel included and important. They treated him with such kindness and respect, and it made the whole experience magical for him. He hasn’t stopped talking about his best friend Thomas at Animal House since and asks to go visit the shop daily. Truly, the shop and the employees are all incredibly considerate and wonderful. If you’re looking for a card shop that has a great environment, welcoming to everyone (including kids!), and really appreciates the magic of collecting/playing, I couldn’t recommend anywhere more!
