“My son and I found this store purely by chance a few months ago. (We live 1.5 hour away.) During our visit, we learned of an event they were having a few weeks from then and decided to make the drive again as my son, and myself, were interested in learning how to play War Hammer. I wasn’t expecting the experience we had. I was really expecting the experienced players to treat us as an aggravation or inconvenience but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. Everyone we met, including other customers, were very welcoming and genuinely friendly. My son was definitely the youngest one at the table learning how to play and I was clearly old enough to be the instructor’s (and other players) mother, lol, but we were treated great. I can honestly say the War Hammer community is welcoming to players of all ages and skill levels. The instructor was amazing and took the time explaining each step of how the game is played and answered all the questions that we had. He was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun. I couldn’t be happier with our time spent there and will definitely be returning. To be welcomed and encouraged every step of the way is worth the 3 hour round trip driving time. To the store owner and all employees, thank you for making our first experience so much fun and we look forward to returning.”

“My husband and I recently visited here to have his Pokemon cards appraised. Everyone that was working there was very down to earth and friendly. They were also knowledgeable and made sure to look over all of his cards to get what we could out of them. They were very thorough and even looked up the cards to confirm their value. “The best game store I've ever been to! Perry and his employees are amazing staff and extremely helpful to all players, new and old. The vast amount of events, tournaments and classes keep them busy but they are a rock solid staff and awesome store. I'm fortunate to live nearby but people drive from hours away just to come play here and it really says something about the store and it's staff!”

“My partner and I are locals and frequent this shop since she adopted a Magic the Gathering obsession, and we've both become even more obsessed with the store itself. Perry and Painter are both as sweet as can be, and effortlessly foster an incredibly welcoming environment. The store itself reflects the management's competence, as it is always well stocked, manned by friendly faces who are willing to help, answer questions, and hang out and chat in their downtime. You can tell that it's a group of dudes who actually love what they do, and aren't just in it for the wrong reasons. I'd recommend this place to anyone even semi interested in trading card games, Warhammer, comics, or otherwise. There's no better place for it in Cleveland.”
