★★★★★
“Great little game store. They might not have a massive archive of cards but they have personality and a great homey feeling. Atleast that's how I felt my first and only time in this shop.”
★★★★★
“Love this place. I don’t play Magic- but go there for DnD stuff and the great selection of warpaints and minis. They also have a nice little selection of more “classic” style board games -like codenames/ticket to ride/tabboo Love the vibes. I live across the street and having a safe, fun and welcoming place for youngin’s (and adults) to go and play games is awesome for the community. It seems like a home base and safe space for a lot of people. Owner is always super welcoming - and it always warms my heart to see him helping young kids build their decks, or how patient he is with really excited nerds (we tend to get that way) talking to him about their new cards while he’s working. So happy to be able to support this local business - and highly recommend to any newcomers or old heads looking for Card/board/TTRPG stuff.”
★★★★★
“What a great little store. The staff/owner was friendly and helpful. The selection of games was good (I saw Magic the Gathering, D&D, Battletech, and more). They even had a fully stocked selection of Army Painter speed paints. They do have a place for people to gather and play as well (looked like Commander was the primary choice). I'm happy to have found a gaming store here in Maryville/Alcoa so I don't have to travel to Knoxville as much anymore.”
★★
“Can't recommend coming here anymore. I've been a loyal customer to Dalton for well over 2 years now I have refused to buy my singles anywhere else. Today I traded in cards and got ridiculed and made fun of because I needed to buy groceries from the store with the money in front of a store full of people. I will no longer be supportive of this toxic behavior. This man complains about fakes circulating in his store but does absolutely nothing to prevent the circulation and trading in of said fakes. There are people in the store that actively sell fakes to people that play at the game piece and the fact that they refuse to do anything about it and then proceed to complain about it is appalling. The owner activity talks down on other card stores and speaks illy of people who come into the store that slightly inconvenience him, grow up.”
