“I recently got back into collecting Pokémon cards and had to start my collection from scratch. I searched for stores in my area, and Retro City Games was the closest one, so I decided to check it out. Since then, I’ve visited a few other card shops too, but I’ve only revisited this one. I've already been back a few times in the past two weeks. They have several display cases of Pokémon singles with good prices and the selection has been different each time. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been extremely friendly, helpful, informative, and patient. The owner, Richard, is really chill as well. What really stood out to me was my most recent visit. I didn’t interact with Richard at all the last two times I was in the store, but when I came in today, he approached me, remembered which card I had bought previously, and gifted me a card for my collection. It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me and made the store feel genuinely welcoming. Definitely a great place for Pokémon collectors, especially if you’re getting back into the hobby or starting fresh.”
