They also have graded slabs and some Disney Lorcana, One Piece, and Magic the Gathering that is growing every time I come in. “I’ve been a regular customer here for the past two-three months and was even in talks to do streaming work for the store. Today I came in to sell some sealed product - something I’ve done multiple times at the standard 80% market value rate. Without warning, I was offered 72% instead. When I calmly asked why, the owner became aggressive rather than explaining the situation. I chose to take my business elsewhere, which is my right as a customer. I was then banned from the store via text message. I have no issue with a store adjusting their buy rates — that’s business. My issue is being treated aggressively for simply asking a question, and then being banned for walking away politely. The employees here have always been great, which is why this experience was so jarring. I’d recommend others be aware that buy rates and treatment may vary depending on the owner’s mood that day.”
