“This is THE comic shop. I have never experienced the level of friendly, knowledgable staff who will bend over backwards to help a customer. From 5 year olds to 55 year olds, B&D staff love to learn your interests and find a series to match. They will happily walk you through managing subscriptions, research/find specific items or back issues, facilitate ways of finding/obtaining obscure items/issues, and ocassionally even offer to hold an item for a couple of days until payday. They are the kindest, most honest, customer-oriented, personable people, who treat everyone that enters as a friend. They value local artists and writers, and are fervent supporters of reading/literacy initiatives, as well as youth art scholarships!”
