Connect Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible AI agents directly to the CardsNearby directory. Ask your assistant for card shops or card shows near any US location and it queries our live data over the Model Context Protocol.

What it does

Tools

find_card_shops

Find local trading card shops (sports cards, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and other TCGs) near a location in the United States. Provide either latitude+longitude or a US city (and state). Returns shops sorted by distance with address, games carried, services, rating, phone, and a link to the full listing. Radius defaults to 25 miles (max 100); limit defaults to 10 (max 25).

find_card_shows

Find upcoming trading card shows and conventions near a location in the United States. Provide either latitude+longitude or a US city (and state). Returns shows sorted by distance with venue, the next upcoming date, games featured, and a link. Radius defaults to 50 miles (max 150); limit defaults to 10 (max 25).

list_coverage

List the US states CardsNearby covers and how many card shops are listed in each, plus the total. Useful to check coverage before searching by city.
